Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel OR RN for a 13-week assignment in Akron, Ohio. The travel RN will work 12-hour day shifts in the operating room, with a strong emphasis on perioperative patient care and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of recent OR RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS certification. Preferred qualifications include ACLS/PALS/ENPC and CNOR credentials. The role offers comprehensive benefits and travel-friendly support.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Operating Room RN experience.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room with instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies.
• Assists in positioning patients for surgery and ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains a sterile field and adheres to infection control protocols.
• Anticipates needs of the surgical team and provides instruments and supplies promptly.
• Documents perioperative care accurately and communicates during handoffs.
