Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing-Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Duluth, Minnesota. This 11-week contract starts 09/28/2026 and requires 40 hours per week with a day shift.

As an OR RN, you will prepare the operating room, assist in patient positioning, maintain sterile technique, monitor intraoperative conditions, and collaborate with the surgical team to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as an Operating Room RN.
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Prepares the operating room and ensures instruments and supplies are ready.
• Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery.
• Maintains a sterile field and follows infection control protocols.
• Monitors patient status during surgery and notifies the surgeon.
• Documents patient care in the perioperative setting.
• Participates in handoff during pre- and post-operative phases.
• Cleans and restocks the operating room between cases.
• Collaborates with the surgical team to ensure policy compliance.
