Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an operating room assignment during the winter. The position is a 10-week contract at a Level I Trauma Center, with day shifts of 4x10 or 5x8 and occasional on-call coverage.

Applicants must have 2+ years of OR experience, a CT/compact RN license (pending accepted), BLS and ACLS, and prior travel nursing experience. Teaching hospital exposure is preferred, with substantial benefits provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operating room experience required.
• Active or pending CT/compact RN license accepted (processing 15–21 days).
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Teaching hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in GYN, ENT, Plastics, General Surgery, and Ophthalmology procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate in the OR within a Level I Trauma Center or academic medical center.
• Work a 10-week winter coverage contract.
• Day shifts: 4x10 (7:00–17:30) or 5x8 (7:00–15:30); occasional 10:45–19:15.
