Job summary

Trusted Talent is seeking a travel nurse RN OR for an operating room assignment in Townsend, Maryland. The role is evenings, 13 weeks, travel employment, and includes a tax-free stipend where applicable.

The ideal candidate holds a BSN (or equivalent), has OR experience, and holds BLS/ACLS credentials. Comprehensive health benefits and a referral/bonus program are typical for this assignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent is required.
• Previous operating room experience is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-operative planning and post-operative management.
• Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide care for patients in recovery.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety.
