Job summary

Trusted Talent is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel assignment in Townsend, Maryland. The position starts ASAP for 13 weeks with evenings shifts and a travel employment type.

RN, OR specialty, and BLS/ACLS certifications are required; BSN or equivalent is expected. Responsibilities include perioperative planning, assisting with procedures, patient monitoring, and maintaining sterile technique.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent.
• Previous OR experience is highly preferred.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Participate in pre-operative planning and post-operative management.
• Assist with surgical procedures in the operating room.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during surgery.
• Maintain sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
• Provide support and care for patients in recovery.
• Communicate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
