Job summary

TotalMed RN in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a travel nurse RN OR Circulate for a 13-week assignment. The role requires 1-2 years of acute care experience as a circulating nurse or scrub nurse and may include RN first assistant duties.

Schedule includes 36 hours per week on 12-hour days, with travel employment and ASAP start. As an OR Travel Nurse, you will support surgical teams, provide perioperative care, and educate patients pre- and post-surgery.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of recent acute care experience as circulation nurse, scrub nurse, or RN First Assistant.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and medical staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery care and education to patients and families.
• Coordinate intraoperative care and ensure correct procedures are performed.
• Monitor patient during surgery and respond to complications with the team.
