GHR Healthcare in Bucyrus, OH is seeking a Travel Operating Room RN to serve as an OR circulator on a 13-week contract. The role delivers perioperative care in a community hospital, working four 10-hour day shifts with on-call expectations.

Requirements include OR nursing experience, Ohio RN license, ACLS, and ability to float between Bucyrus, Galion, and Ontario campuses. Epic experience preferred; on-call within 1 hour; vaccination compliance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Ohio.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Epic experience preferred.
• Ability to float between campuses as needed.
• Respond within 1 hour if on call.
• Must comply with COVID-19 and influenza vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the OR circulator during procedures, coordinating care and maintaining a safe operating environment.
• Complete preoperative assessments and verify patient, procedure, consent, and site information.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, technologists, and perioperative team.
• Maintain aseptic technique and support surgical safety standards.
• Document perioperative care in the EHR.
• Prepare the OR, coordinate equipment and supplies, ensure efficient turnover.
• Provide safe patient positioning, transport, and handoff.
• Float to other campuses as needed while maintaining care standards.
• Participate in orientation, education, and competency activities.
