Job Summary

Operating Room Nurse in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized surgical nursing care in the operating room environment. The role requires a focus on patient safety, surgical preparedness, and team collaboration to ensure optimal patient outcomes during procedures.

Job Details

Schedule: Evening shifts, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is provided.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One (1) year of recent full-time equivalent operating room experience (within the last 3 years).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience.
• Certification from the Council of Surgical Specialty Certification (CNOR).
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.Pre-operative area skills and IV start skills.

Additional Information

This assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and concludes on 02/07/2027. Candidates must have and maintain current licensure and certifications required for the role. Candidates who possess the preferred qualifications and relevant recent experience are highly encouraged to apply.
