Cross Country Nurses is seeking an OR Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Reno, NV. This Level II Trauma center role requires perioperative nursing care across trauma, neurosurgery, robotics, urology, vascular, and other complex surgeries.

The position features a 4-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours weekly, and a tax-free stipend with private housing options. NV RN license, BLS, ACLS, and prior travel experience are required.

Qualifications

• NV State Registered Nurse license prior to start.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• CMP bloodwork completed within 1 year of start date.
• 2 years' experience in Trauma Operating Room setting.
• prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment.
• minimum 2+ years of Trauma OR circulating experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR setting.

Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse position in a Level II Trauma center located in Reno, NV. This role involves providing comprehensive perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting procedures including trauma, neurosurgery, robotics, urology, vascular, and other complex surgeries. The incumbent will deliver individualized patient care within the nursing process, ensuring optimal outcomes for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.

Job Details:

Schedule: Weekdays, 4 days a week, combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week. The shift hours are 10 hours per day.

Required Qualifications:

• NV State Registered Nurse license prior to start
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• CMP bloodwork completed within 1 year of start date
• 2 years' experience in Trauma Operating Room setting
• prior travel experience of one 13-week assignment
• minimum 2+ years of Trauma OR circulating experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Level II Trauma Center surgeries including neurosurgery, Da Vinci Xi robotics, trauma, orthopedic, and pediatric procedures
