Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility setting in Denver, Colorado. The role involves providing acute care surgical nursing services within a fast-paced OR environment on a day shift schedule. The position is temporary, with a focus on elective surgical procedures including orthopedics, spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology.

Job Details:

• Position: Operating Room (OR) RN
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications: Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 1-year current hospital acute care OR RN experience; location requirements as applicable; valid nursing license.
• Preferred Qualifications: Level 4 Trauma experience; orthopedic/spine surgical experience; ability to manage elective surgical cases in various specialties.
• Unit Information: The unit consists of 23 operating rooms with a staff of approximately 70 members, mainly conducting elective surgeries across multiple specialties. The unit adheres to hospital policies and guidelines, including call requirements involving 1-2 weekends of second call and/or 1-2 12-hour first call shifts during the contract.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
