Job summary

A prominent healthcare staffing agency is seeking a travel nurse for the Operating Room in Kingman, Arizona. The role requires an active RN license and offers the chance to work in a variety of surgical specialties, including thoracic and urological procedures. Ideal candidates will have certifications in BLS and ACLS, and experience with robotic surgeries is preferred. The pay package includes benefits and tax-free stipends. Qualifications

• Currently possess an active AZ RN license or compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and preferably PALS certifications required.
• Experience in a variety of surgical procedures in the OR.
• Experience with urological procedures such as cystectomy, nephrectomy and prostatectomy.
• Experience with general OR cases including laparoscopic procedures, bowel resections, mastectomy and thyroidectomy.
• Trauma case experience including amputations and gunshot/stab wounds.
• Robotics experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.

Responsibilities

• Manage general OR settings within a community hospital.
• Assist in surgeries across multiple specialties including thoracic and urological.
• Handle robotic surgeries using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System.
• Estimated 5–6 call shifts per month depending on staffing needs.
• Meditech experience is preferred for charting.

Overview

American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Kingman, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• General OR setting within a community hospital
• Surgical specialties include general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, urology, thoracic, podiatry, trauma, and robotic surgery
• Robotic surgery cases include colorectal and orthopedic procedures using the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 5:15 PM)
• Estimated 5–6 call and late call shifts per month depending on staffing needs
• Meditech experience is highly preferred for charting

Qualifications

• Active AZ RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS; PALS also required
• Experience with thoracic procedures including VATS, thoracotomy, lobe/lung resection, and mediastinoscopy (scrub thoracic surgery preferred)
• Experience with urological procedures such as cystectomy, nephrectomy, and prostatectomy preferred
• Experience with general OR cases including laparoscopic procedures, bowel resections, mastectomy, and thyroidectomy
• Trauma case experience including amputations and gunshot/stab wounds
• Robotics experience with the Da Vinci Xi Surgical System
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Travel experience is not required

• Travel pairs are accepted for this assignment
• Former permanent employees of this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a travel nurse
• RTO requests must be submitted prior to or at the time of application
