Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel Surgical Technologist for a travel assignment in Lynchburg, Virginia. The OR CVOR technologist will support open-heart procedures in a high-acuity setting, with 8-hour day shifts and a 40-hour week.

Start date is 10/19/2026 for a 13-week assignment (through 01/16/2027). Requirements include 2 years CVOR experience, CPR/BLS, CST certification, VA license (or pending), and ability to obtain VA license within 4–6 weeks. Travel benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as an Open-Heart CVOR Technologist in a similar setting.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Virginia state license (or application submitted for license if not currently licensed).
• Active CST certification.
• Ability to obtain VA license within approximately 4–6 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Support open-heart cardiothoracic vascular procedures in the OR.
• Assist with cardiac surgeries and adhere to relevant protocols.
• Ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Work 8-hour day shifts with 40 hours per week.
