Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry assignment in Columbus, Ohio. The role requires an active OH or compact RN license, at least 2 years of RN experience, and telemetry skills. Oncology experience is preferred but not required.

Shifts are 12 hours (days) with 36 hours per week across day and night rotations on a 16-week assignment. Epic is used for charting; travel and licensure reimbursements are provided.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to interpret and monitor telemetry.
• Previous travel experience preferred.
• Oncology experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg Tele Oncology unit.
• Care for adult and geriatric patients with a focus on solid tumor cancers across all stages.
• Patient diagnoses include breast, lung, prostate, pancreatic, colon, and esophageal cancers, as well as antineoplastic chemotherapy cases.
• Staffing ratios typically 1:4, with occasional 1:5 ratios.
• Day and night 12-hour shifts available.
• Floating to other Med/Surg Oncology units as needed.
• Epic used for charting and documentation.
