Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for Med/Surg Telemetry in Columbus, Ohio. The assignment features a 16-week duration with 36 hours per week, 12-hour day shifts, and a travel employment type. EPIC EMR proficiency and telemetry skills are required to care for mixed acuity adult and oncology patients.

Qualifications

• Active OH or compact RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• IV starts, telemetry skills, and tracheostomy management required.
• Previous travel experience is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Med/Surg Tele unit with mixed acuity including progressive care and medical-surgical patients.
• Care for adult and oncology patients; oncology experience preferred but not required.
• Use of Epic EMR is required.
• May work day and night shifts or rotating schedule as needed.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends.
