Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel Oncology RN to work Med Surg / Telemetry in Paramus, New Jersey. The position is a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift.

The Oncology RN will administer care to cancer patients under physician direction, coordinate treatment plans, and educate patients about options and procedures. On-call responsibilities and lifting may be required; BLS is required and additional certifications may be needed prior to assignment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications may be required before starting

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans.
• Provide patient education and treatment tracking.
• Be a reliable source of comfort and support for cancer patients and families.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
