Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an Oncology RN travel nurse for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, NE. The role requires 1–2 years of acute care experience and oncology nursing expertise, with 12-hour night shifts and a 48-hour workweek.

As an Oncology RN, you will support chemotherapy administration, patient education, and symptom management under physician supervision, while maintaining safety and care standards across settings.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Oncology RN with ability to assist under physician supervision.
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate treatment plans for oncology patients.
• Provide patient education and track treatment progress.
• Offer comfort and support to patients and families.
• Manage details under pressure and adhere to best practices.
