Job summary

Seacrest Behavioral Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in an acute care setting. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and support daily activities, collaborating with healthcare teams.

Qualifications

Job description

Role: Occupational Therapist (OT) for a travel assignment, responsible for evaluating and developing care plans for patients needing assistance with daily activities in an acute care setting.

Key Responsibilities: Review medical histories, evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, assist patients with disabilities, assess home or workplace modifications, educate families and employers, recommend and instruct on equipment use, and document progress following regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills: Minimum 6 months of experience (new grads encouraged), valid NBCOT-OTR certification, state-specific licensure, BLS certification, strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean for extended periods.

Additional Details: 40 hours/week, day shifts, travel employment. Additional certifications may be required before assignment. Compensation based on 8-hour shifts with a tax-free stipend.
