Qualifications

Role Overview

Seeking a travel Occupational Therapist (OT) to evaluate and develop treatment plans for patients in acute care settings. The OT will assess patients' medical history, needs, and progress, creating strategies to enhance daily living skills. Responsibilities include performing patient evaluations, developing care plans, educating families and employers, recommending equipment, and accurately documenting activities and progress in compliance with guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of experience; 1 year preferred, new grads encouraged to apply
• Valid NBCOT-OTR certification and state-specific licensure
• BLS certification
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods
