Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for an outpatient pediatric and adult program requiring Alaska licensure and some pediatric experience.

Open roles include a 13-week travel assignment in Alaska with day shifts (8:00 AM–6:00 PM) and a diverse caseload across pediatric and adult diagnoses. First-time travelers with adequate experience will be considered, and local candidates are welcome at the same rate.

Qualifications

• Alaska OT license required in hand prior to consideration, if applicable.
• NBCOT certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience required.
• Some pediatric experience required.
• Experience with charting systems required.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient occupational therapy setting.
• Day shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Caseload includes pediatric and adult cases such as autism, ADHD, sensory processing, learning disorders, brain injury, hypermobility/soft tissue disorders and mental health.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Work with diverse caseload including pediatric and adult clients across a range of diagnoses.
• First-time travelers will be considered with sufficient experience.
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate.
• Limit time off to 5 days or less.
