Job summary

Odyssey seeks an Occupational Therapist for a travel contract in Cotulla, TX. Role requires 2+ years OT experience, LTC background preferred, and valid OT license in the state or Compact. Full-time, travel/contract arrangement with 13-week length; 40-hour weeks; dayshift 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

BLS preferred. Compensation includes weekly gross pay with travel/housing stipend as eligible. Applicants must be licensed in Texas or eligible for compact licensing and have the ability to work in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2+ years OT experience required.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Prior travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and identify deficits in patients' ability to move and perform daily activities.
• Develop an individualized plan of care with patient-centered goals.
• Perform patient evaluations and select tests and measures to obtain data.
• Establish and manage a plan of care addressing impairments and physician orders.
• Conduct ongoing reassessment and adjust treatment as needed.
• Initiate discharge planning from the first visit and continue through treatment.
• Supervise staff and students per state laws and department policy.
• Document clearly within established timelines and regulatory requirements.
