Job summary

CONSUMER DIRECTED SERVICES INC. seeks a Travel Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient services in acute care, focusing on adult and geriatric mobility and functional recovery. You will evaluate patients, develop plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve outcomes.

Requirements include an OT license, BLS, or experience with orthopedic injuries, and the ability to travel and work 40 hours weekly. EPIC EMR familiarity is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid OT license and BLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience in adult/geriatric care.
• Experience with orthopedic injuries and adaptive equipment.
• Travel capability and ability to work 40 hours per week.
• EPIC EMR experience preferred.

Travel Occupational Therapist providing inpatient services in a short-term acute care facility, focusing on adult and geriatric patient mobility, activity, and functional recovery.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting patient outcomes.
• Duties include patient lifting, transferring, education, and injury prevention.
• Flexibility to float between facilities and work weekends is required.

Qualifications & Skills

• Valid OT license, minimum 2 years of experience, BLS certification, and experience with adult care, adaptive equipment, and orthopedic injuries.
• Familiarity with electronic charting (EPIC) and inpatient settings is preferred.
• Must have travel experience and be able to work 40 hours per week, with shifts of 8 hours during days.

Additional Requirements

• MO or Illinois license, compliance with RTO policies, and ability to complete documentation and modules timely.
• Position involves physical activity and patient education.
