Job summary

MEP Health is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting. You will provide therapy services including lifting, transfers, patient and family education, safety and documentation, with possible travel between two campuses.

Candidate must hold an OT license and BLS, have 2+ years adult care, and be willing to work 40 hours/week days with weekend rotation. Prior travel therapy and EPIC experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Current state OT license and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of adult care experience, including treatment of hip fractures, total hip/knee replacements or injuries, and adaptive equipment.
• Prior travel therapy experience preferred, with EPIC charting experience advantageous.
• Strong clinical skills in acute care environment.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week, dayshift, with weekend rotation.

• Adhere to dress code and facility policies.
• Floating between two campuses within the same service line may be required.

Additional Info:

Floating between two campuses may be required. No local candidates within 75 miles. First-time travelers are not considered. Max 7 days RTO per contract, no RTO during first week. Work up to 18 months with a 3-month break afterward. Former employees must wait 1 year to return as travelers.
