The position offers care in an acute inpatient/outpatient rehab setting with travel benefits, housing allowance, and licensure reimbursement. BLS from American Red Cross is required to start.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience with adult patients in outpatient and acute settings.
• Current BLS certification from American Red Cross required.
• Hawaii state license required by start of assignment (license required if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Acute inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation therapy setting.
• Day shift, Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
• EMR systems used include Net Health Therapy and Meditech.
• Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as needed based on hospital operations.
• Evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Plan and implement ongoing therapeutic programs as prescribed by the ordering physician.
• Regularly update treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Independently manage a full caseload and determine need for re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
• All travelers must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start.
