Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an assignment in Orange Park, FL. The role runs for 13 weeks, with 40 hours per week, days shift, travel employment.

As an OT, you will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, educate families, and coordinate with physicians and other healthcare providers. The position requires BLS and NBCOT-OTR licensure, and at least 6 months of experience, with new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• 6 months of OT experience; new grads welcome.
• BLS certification and NBCOT-OTR licensure with state licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods; good knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.
• Licensed to practice in the state and able to meet client facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient history and current condition to plan care.
• Develop treatment plans with specific goals and activities.
• Assist patients with activities and assess home/work environments.
• Educate families and employers on care and accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and provide patient instruction on use.
• Record progress and document per state/insurance guidelines.
• Provide timely, accurate documentation for physicians and payers.
