Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Fort Myers, FL. The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and work across diverse clinical settings to improve daily living activities.

Candidates should have at least 6 months of experience, BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensure. New grads are encouraged to apply; travel and documentation duties are included.

Qualifications

• Experience with occupational therapy evaluation and plan of care.
• Familiar with documenting patient progress and outcomes.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs and develop a treatment plan.
• Review medical history, observe tasks, and assess function.
• Educate family and employer on care and accommodations.
• Assess home/workplace for potential improvements and safety.
• Document progress according to guidelines and billing needs.
