Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in South Bend, IN. The OT will provide comprehensive, evidence-based interventions to help patients develop and recover daily living skills while working with a dedicated clinical team.

Candidates must hold a valid OT license for Indiana, CPR/BLS certification, and be prepared to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document progress, and ensure safe transitions of care.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Occupational Therapy license for Indiana.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• OTR Certification (NBCOT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create personalized therapy plans based on patient assessments and goals.
• Deliver individualized OT interventions per treatment plan.
• Perform hands-on therapy using adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Educate patients and families on strategies to improve independence in ADLs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team for coordinated care.
• Track progress and document in medical records; adjust plans as needed.
