Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist for an inpatient rehabilitation unit in St. George, Utah. The role requires a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy, active OT license, and at least 1 year of IRF experience. BLS and NBCOT are preferred. Assignment features 36 hours per week across 3x12-hr shifts.

The candidate will join an inpatient rehab team, with Epic EMR experience preferred, and may have weekend rotations. Travel benefits and a tax-free stipend are involved.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Doctorate in Occupational Therapy preferred.
• Active state OT license required (license if applicable).
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted, must not expire).
• NBCOT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including assessment, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Educate and train patients and caregivers on treatment plans.
• May supervise COTAs, aides, and students when applicable.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the clinical setting.
• Maintain clinical documentation including chart notes and discharge summaries.
