Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a travel assignment in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role requires 1 year of OT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates) and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure. Duties include evaluating patients, creating treatment plans, and documenting progress.

This is a 13-week travel assignment with 40 hours per week and day shifts. Requirements include BLS, NBCOT-OTR, and ability to stand/walk for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS and NBCOT-OTR National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• 1 year of OT experience required; 6 months may be accepted for exceptional candidates.
• OT should be able to stand/walk long periods and have knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, questions, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with goals and activities.
• Assist patients with disabilities to perform tasks.
• Assess patient home/work environment for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations.
• Recommend equipment and train patients on use.
• Document activities and progress for evaluations and billing.
• Provide timely documentation per state/insurer guidelines.
