Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an outreach therapy clinic in Devils Lake, North Dakota. The role focuses on an outpatient and inpatient mix, with a 40-hour workweek over a 13-week contract.

Qualified candidates will have an active North Dakota OT license, NBCOT OTR/L certification, and 2+ years of OT experience, including inpatient/outpatient settings. BLS and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Active OT license for North Dakota (ND)
• NBCOT OTR/L certification required
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience
• Inpatient and/or outpatient setting experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients across relevant diagnoses and age groups in compliance with licensure standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team on patient goals, care planning, and discharge planning
• Provide patient and family education on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
• Perform pain assessments and monitor program effectiveness and outcomes
• Provide clinical supervision to OTAs per licensure and care delivery standards
• Document all patient information including precautions, orders, and plan of care per chart and review standards
