Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Devils Lake, ND. You will evaluate patients, develop a plan of care, and implement treatment to improve daily living skills in acute care settings.

Must have NBCOT-OTR, BLS, and state licensure; 6 months experience required (1 year preferred). Exceptional new grads may be considered. This travel role offers 40 hours per week with days shift and a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience preferred; exceptional candidates with less may be considered
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensure required
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks
• Evaluate patient condition and needs
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities
• Help patients perform daily living tasks
• Assess home/work environment for safety improvements
• Educate patient and family on accommodations and care
• Recommend equipment and instruct proper use
• Document patient progress for evaluations and billing
• Ensure timely documentation per state and insurer guidelines
