Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an immediate travel opening in Jacksonville, IL. This is a 13‑week assignment at 40 hours per week, with day shifts in the acute care setting.

The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and help patients improve daily living skills. Requirements: 1 year of OT experience (6 months for exceptional candidates), BLS, NBCOT-OTR certification, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 1 year OT experience required; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Active BLS and NBCOT-OTR certification with state licensure.
• Able to stand/walk for long periods in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop a plan of care.
• Develop treatment plans to improve daily living skills.
• Educate patients' families and employers about care needs.
• Document progress per state and insurance guidelines.
• Assess home/work environments for potential improvements.
