Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for an extended travel assignment in Escanaba, MI. The OT will review histories, evaluate needs, and develop treatment plans while working a 40-hour week on day shifts.

Must have 1 year of experience (6 months may suffice for exceptional candidates) plus BLS and NBCOT-OTR and state licensing. New grads invited to apply; travel stipend and tax considerations apply as per assignment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of OT experience required; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR national certification with state licensing required.
• Physically capable of standing, walking long periods, bending and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and observe patient performance.
• Evaluate condition and determine needs.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with goals and activities.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations.
• Assess home/work environment for improvements.
• Provide equipment recommendations and training.
• Document progress per guidelines and for billing.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation.
