Job summary

TotalMed Allied seeks a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Baltimore, MD. The OT will evaluate patients, develop care plans, and support daily living skills in acute care settings. 1 year of experience is preferred; 6 months may be considered for exceptional candidates.

ABL and NBCOT certification with state licensing are required. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, goal setting, home/workplace adjustments, family education, and proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of OT experience; exceptional candidates with 6 months may be considered.
• Must hold BLS and NBCOT (OTR) certification and state license.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history, ask questions, and observe tasks.
• Evaluate a patient's condition and needs.
• Develop a treatment plan with specific goals and activities.
• Help patients with various disabilities perform tasks.
• Evaluate home or workplace for potential improvements.
• Educate family and employer on accommodations and care.
• Recommend equipment and instruct on its use.
• Assess and record progress for evaluations and billing.
• Provide timely documentation following guidelines.
