Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Gordon, Nebraska. The role requires 40 hours per week, with 8-hour daytime shifts, and travel employment status.

The OT will evaluate patients, develop plans of care, and implement treatment to improve daily living activities in acute care settings. 6 months experience preferred; NBCOT-OTR and BLS are required, with state licensing.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of OT experience; new grads may apply.
• BLS and NBCOT-OTR certifications required, with active state license.
• Ability to evaluate and develop plans of care for various patients.

Responsibilities

• Review patients' medical history and observe tasks.
• Evaluate patient condition and needs.
• Develop treatment plans and identify goals.
• Help patients perform daily living activities.
• Assess home/work environments for improvements.
• Educate family and employer on care needs.
• Recommend equipment and instruct usage.
• Document progress for evaluations and reports.
• Provide timely documentation according to guidelines.
