American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an Occupational Therapist with at least 1 year of relevant experience for a therapy department serving patients of all ages.

The schedule runs Tuesday through Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, totaling 40 hours per week with weekend and holiday coverage limited to Saturdays. EPIC charting experience is preferred, with travel and licensure reimbursements provided.

Qualifications

• OT license in IL is required if applicable.
• BLS (AHA) certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Level 1 Trauma experience required.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages, serving as a clinical resource for staff and students.
• Design and adjust individualized plans of care including goals, treatments, outcomes, and discharge planning.
• Educate patients, families, caregivers, students, and other healthcare providers using effective teaching methods.
• Monitor care delivered by support personnel and provide regular feedback.
• Document evaluations, plans of care, and treatment modifications according to department policy.
• Perform patient transfers safely using appropriate body mechanics.
• RTO not to exceed 7 total days per 13-week contract.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted.
