Talented-Medical-Solutions is seeking an experienced OB/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Hanford, CA. Night shift, 36-48 hours per week, offering strong clinical autonomy in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Ideal candidates hold active RN licensure, BLS and ACLS, with Epic experience and excellent teamwork and communication skills to support mothers and newborns.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced OB environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to OB/Labor & Delivery patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Perform assessments and promptly recognize changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care as applicable.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the care team.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic.
• Follow hospital policies and patient-safety standards.
• Respond to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
