Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions seeks an experienced OB/Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Hanford, CA. Night shifts with 36–48 hours per week offer a fast-paced maternal-newborn care environment.

Provide safe, compassionate nursing care, monitor maternal and fetal status, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with physicians and the care team. Epic experience and BLS/ACLS certifications are REQUIRED.

Qualifications

• Epic experience REQUIRED.
• BLS certification REQUIRED.
• ACLS certification REQUIRED.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to OB/Labor & Delivery patients.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor and delivery.
• Administer medications and treatments according to provider orders.
• Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care as applicable.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic.
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and patient-safety standards.
• Respond effectively to changes in maternal or fetal condition.
