Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Oregon seeks a Night Shift Registered Nurse (OB) to coordinate mother-baby patient care and education under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. The role requires leveraging the nursing process to lead care for a patient or group and to provide clinical leadership for other staff.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in OB nursing, rural health experience, and current BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications, with an Oregon RN license (temp license available within 24 hours).

Qualifications

• Rural health experience preferred-2 years or more.
• OB RN with 2+ years of experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Oregon RN license; temp license option within 24 hours.
• Night shift availability and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate mother-baby patient care and education under the direction of the CNO.
• Provide clinical leadership and supervise other staff using the nursing process.

Schedule:

Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am-36 hrs/week, days not set

• Average Annual Deliveries: 1 in OB, ER varies
• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) assists in coordinating mother-baby patient care and education. A registered professional nurse who is responsible for utilization of the nursing process which consists of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for a patient or group of patients and is responsible for the provision of clinical leadership for other staff

Requirements:

• Rural health experience preferred-2 years or more.
• OB RN greater than 2 years.
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NRP
• Oregon State RN License (Can obtain temp license within 24 hours)
