Lake Health District is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse to work 12-hour shifts in both OB and MedSurg units. The candidate will coordinate mother-baby patient care and education under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer. The role requires a current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing, as well as a minimum of one year of acute clinical experience. Qualifications

Registered Nurse, Part‑time 12‑hour shifts, rotating schedule, working both in OB and MedSurg.

Non‑Exempt, Hourly, Union. Benefited position.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) assists in coordinating mother‑baby patient care and education. A registered professional nurse who is responsible for utilization of the nursing process which consists of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for a patient or group of patients and is responsible for the provision of clinical leadership for other staff.

Requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing required.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Current RN license from the Oregon State Board of Nursing required. Current BLS required. ACLS, NRP, STABLE and Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification as soon as available after hire. Acute and Post Partum unit check off required after hire. PALS certification encouraged.

Experience

At least one (1) year of acute clinical experience preferred. Demonstrates excellence in obstetrical nursing skills and patient care.

Job Knowledge

Responsible to understand and capable of implementing duties with the scope of rules and regulations of the Oregon State Board of Nursing and the Nurse Practice Act.
