Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a Nursery travel nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Brooklyn, MD. The RN will care for newborns in a neonatal setting, perform routine procedures, and collaborate with hospital teams to ensure newborn and family safety.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS/NRP/STABLE certifications, and flexibility for a 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week. Travel experience preferred; shifts are 12 hours, days.

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE certifications required.
• Travel nurse with Nursery specialty.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic care to newborns.
• Provide light oxygen therapy to babies and respond to newborn needs.
• Administer vaccinations and newborn screens per hospital policy.
• Monitor vitals and patient well-being; report changes and assist with procedures.
