Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for Nursery in Natchez, Mississippi. The assignment is 13 weeks long with 36 hours per week, consisting of 12-hour night shifts in a hospital nursery.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years’ acute care experience and current BLS, NRP and STABLE certifications. You will provide newborn care, monitor infants, administer vaccines, and assist families in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of acute care experience.
• Current BLS, NRP and STABLE certifications.
• Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic newborn care to well babies.
• Monitor vital signs and patient well-being.
• Administer vaccinations and newborn screens per policy.
• Support families and document care accurately.
