TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Nursery for a travel nursing job in Suffolk, Virginia. The role requires caring for newborns, supervising patients and coordinating care with hospital staff.

This travel assignment is for 13 weeks starting 10/05/2026, with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour night shifts in Suffolk, VA. Qualified candidates should have 1–2 years of acute care experience, BLS and NRP, and be prepared to meet additional certification requirements.

Qualifications

• RN with Nursery specialty and travel assignment experience.
• 2+ years acute care experience preferred.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; additional certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide newborn care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer vaccinations and newborn screens per hospital policy.
• Administer treatments, tests and procedures as prescribed.
