Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in Stepdown/PCU unit, manage sick and critical patients.
• Must float to ICU as necessary, manage heart failure and stroke patients.
• Charting using Epic system.

Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs/week, eow

Length: 13 Weeks

Weekend Requirements: Every third

Holiday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minor

Requirements:

• IA license
• 2 Years Experience
• RNs must read and interpret strips
• ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  
  

Other Details:

• Charting System: Epic
• # of Beds: 22
• Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:04
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, stroke
• Will float to ICU if appropriate and has experience
• Radius Rule: 50 miles
