The position offers a 13-week assignment, night shifts (7P-7A) with 4x12 hour shifts, and guaranteed 48 hours per week. BLS and NRP are required, and prior Mother/Baby unit experience is preferred.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum/M/B experience

Tell us about the unit(s):

• Number of Beds – 23 beds
• Number of Staff – approximately 80 staff members on mom/baby
• Type of staff:
  • Day Shift –1 charge, 2-3 CNAs, 9-10 RNs on the floor, 3-4 RNs in the nursery
  • Night Shift – 1 charge, 9-10 RNs on the floor, 2-3 RNs in the nursery
• Patient Ratios – 3 or 4:1 -Estimated ratios, not guaranteed
• Type of equipment – main computer system-CPN
• EMR - Meditech / CPN

Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Postpartum/M/B experience

Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.

• Experience in a Mother/Baby Unit
• Flexibility with their schedule
• Ability to adapt quickly to new situations
