Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a travel assignment in Boston, MA. You will perform circulating and scrub duties across orthopedic, vascular, urology, and general surgery with patient flow management into the OR.

The position is 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with immediate start. Massachusetts RN license and BLS are required, plus hospital-based perioperative experience and supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience in hospital/clinical setting.
• Prior supervisory or charge experience (6+ months preferred).
• Current BLS certification; additional credentials may be required based on service lines.

Responsabilités

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care per guidelines and facility protocols.
• Serve as scrub and circulating nurse for Orthopedic, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery.
• Manage instruments, counts, and essential operative tasks for cases.

In this position, you’ll take on both circulating and scrubbing responsibilities across a variety of procedures while overseeing patient flow into the operative suite. This role reports directly to the Nurse Manager and works in collaboration with the RN leading the room during each case.
