Job summary

Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Position requires Wisconsin RN license, AHA BLS, NIHSS, and EPIC proficiency within the last year. Travel contract is 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week and 12-hour night shifts starting at 5:30 PM, floating across ThedaCare Appleton/Neenah facilities.

Qualifications

• WI RN license required.
• AHA BLS certification.
• NIHSS and EPIC training within last year.
• 3+ years RN experience, 2+ years Med/Surg, 1 travel contract preferred.
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between Med/Surg units and facilities.
• Provide patient care on Med/Surg floors.
• Chart in EPIC system.
• Maintain a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 5:30 PM start.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.

• Experience: 3+ years RN, 2+ years Med/Surg, 1 travel contract strongly preferred
• Preferred: AHA ACLS
• Charting: EPIC
• Scrubs: Black
• Skills: Med/Surg, surgical, oncology, renal, CHF, COPD, stroke, ortho, DKA; cardiac/pre-post cath, pacemaker and TR Band experience strongly preferred
• Education: Associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's preferred
• Important: Must be comfortable floating between units and facilities. Traveler must have no home location/facility within 50 miles of ThedaCare Corporate Center in Neenah.
