Job summary

Alliance Services, Inc. seeks an RN specialized in Med/Surg for a 13-week travel assignment in Iron River, MI. The role requires 2+ years of Med/Surg experience, competency in Epic EMR, CareScape monitors, and Pyxis, plus an active Michigan RN license and BLS.

You will cover 12-hour night shifts with a 36-hour workweek and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Ideal candidates may have ED exposure; ACLS is a plus.

Job Details

• 13-week contract with a start date of 10/19
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to ED within competency required
• May be low censused and placed on call; call back minimum is 2 hours
• Provide general nursing care for primarily geriatric patients with conditions such as CHF, COPD, and diabetes
• Work on a 25-bed Med/Surg unit with patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights
• Minimum 2+ years of Med/Surg experience required
• ED experience preferred but not required; ICU experience not required
• Candidates with both Med/Surg and ED experience are highly preferred
• Strong charting experience with Epic EMR, CareScape patient monitors, and Pyxis required
• Current Michigan RN license and AHA BLS certification required
• ACLS preferred but not required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Any colored scrubs permitted

This facility operates a 25-bed Med/Surg unit providing comprehensive inpatient care with a focus on geriatric patients.
