American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN in Duluth, GA for a 13-week Med/Surg assignment on a 12-bed rehabilitation unit. Requires GA or compact license, 2+ years Med/Surg experience, BLS, and Cerner EMR proficiency. Shifts are 12 hours, days, with a 36-hour work week and no on-call duties.

Unit is temporarily relocated due to renovations; travelers receive per diems and licensure reimbursements. First-time travelers are accepted and travel housing stipends are available.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license
• Minimum 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Cerner EMR experience
• No permanent residency within 50 miles of the facility

Responsibilities

• Work in a 12-bed Med/Surg rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
• Patients receive intensive therapy, averaging 3 hours per day
• Day shifts scheduled from 6:45a-7:15p, three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call requirements
• Unit is temporarily relocated due to main building renovations
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Provide nursing care and coordinate intensive daily therapy for a diverse Med/Surg rehabilitation population
• Returning permanent staff seeking travel positions must have a 2-year break from previous employment at this facility
• First time travelers are accepted
• Scrubs required in accordance with hospital policy
• Requested time off must be submitted prior to offer; no additional requests allowed post-offer
