• Return travelers who are unable to return to one facility must complete a successful assignment elsewhere before being eligible for rebooking

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Med/Surg RN with two years of experience for a hospital day shift role requiring a GA or compact RN license and every other weekend coverage.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:30
• Required to work every other weekend
• No call responsibilities
• May float within facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Position accepts local candidates at the same rate
• Expected to work major holidays that fall during the assignment; specifics based on the number of holidays in the period
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off other than during the first week of assignment
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory for timely start, with delays resulting in a two-week push due to bi-weekly orientation schedules
• Travel pairs cannot be scheduled for the same shift on the same unit
