Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg day shift position caring for spinal neuro trauma and surgical cases requiring Epic EMR proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Med/Surg unit specializing in spinal neuro trauma and surgical patient populations
• Patients may include those with gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia
• Day shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR is used and prior experience with Epic is required
• Responsibilities include caring for patients with complex neurotrauma and surgical needs
• No requests for time off (RTO) will be accommodated during this contract
• Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for profile consideration

Requirements

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical nursing specialty
• Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records is required
• Current certifications and Nursys license verification required
